Hello everyone. I tried.... i really did. i wanted to set up a community of people based on mutual love of debauchery. however i have failed you. I have not been on tribes for ... ages.... and so, although you fine people did in fact sally forth and continue the fight for this tribe. It seems to have stagnated.
So i hereby vow to think of new and interesting things to talk about. and so, with a triumphant blast, shall the HPU rise from its own ashes, reborn stronger. faster ... edgyer. to help with this good members i emplore you. share your debauchery, take pictures of your drunken friends and post them, tell us stories about losing your virgity. generally be yourselves.

urg.... i am dying. god i hurt. sigh.... so its been pre-finals week leading up to finals week next week. i have been working like a madman, and aginst my better judgement i have been drinking myself stupid. I have been studying, smokeing oggleing for a week now and i am beat. i am going to sleep all this weekend. but i have a serious question to toss into the all knowing void we have created here in our lovely union.

So i am a nice guy. most of the men i know are just really nice, calm guys. And very rarely do we ever get the opprotunity to have sex with a wonderful woman, let alone actually land one. Why on earth do people shy away from us? is it just because we dont stand out so everyone lumps us into the 'standard guy' catigory much like i lump certan girls into the 'soritory girl' catigory? is it just the hedonistic tendincies of most women in that they want something both exoitic and fullfilling AND intelligent AND sweet AND whatever the fuck else? I mean christ! I am lucky enough to actually have a wonderful woman who for some reason puts up with my almost constant stream of bullshit. But this is one of the first times that I have not had to make consessions in order to tolerate (to her credit she has had to make MANY). I am a nice guy, i am smart, i am just about as funny as the next guy, i am intuitive, i am able to provide, protect and grow. Why the fuck is none of this noticed? so i have tried other routes to show my relitavely limited talents. I demonstrated my ability to drink an entire half-rack and then beat a sober opponent at monopoly. I tried sports, played football, baseball i swam all-state. But none of this makes a single fucking bit of difference.
I have a friend now, hes my best friend and he has had nothing but heartbreak for MONTHS. literally as long as i have know him his heart has been ripped out chomped on and then shat out by no less than 4 women. He is one of the nicest guys i know, i mean what the fuck.

sorry everyone. i just needed to rant. hope this startes discussion.

Don't have much to add right now, but just posted so no one thought I was lurking. I hate that too. My profile is up if you want to learn about me. I am 53, told I don't look it, but in that pic after a night of "warming up" with Brandy (I am a social drinker, but went about 2 shots more here lol), This pic is the result, which I may look older (lol) I will post a better oone soon. I am an ex- radio dj, also clubs, and at topless bars, Teacher Asst. at Palomar College in Radio-TV and Computer Sciences. What am I looking for? Well anything from friends to caual sex to a realtionship. Just meet people and "go with the flow". I use to go to swinger's parties when married, but they just happy with single males at the (I understand why, of course) I just threw that in to let you know I am comforatable in a situation like that.

Hello everyone. So this post dosent really have anything to do with hedonisim. but i feel this is the perfect time in my life to go on another rant.
So what is the deal with the Masses swarming around all these damn actresses? I men the Halle Berry obsesion that most of the people i know seem to have. i dont understand it, I mean yeah shes hot. But by no means, in my opinion, is she the say all end all of beauty. in fact if i were to see in her in a bar i dont think she would even catch my eye. I would automatically lump her into the the same catigory as all the other over-made-up-cookie-cutter women that portland, nay the world, seem to be overrun with. The people who catch my eye are the ones with individuality (and a thing for bad spellers... heh) in their look. And i am not saying that Halle or anyone else that i lump into this catagory is a bad person or that they are all the same because i know they are not. There are pretty, dumb women. and then there are those that are stylish and wonderful human beings. I am saying that by appearence alone halle berry and about 50% of the rest of the female population that i see fall into this catagory of people that dont catch my eye.
*shrug* i dont quite know what i am getting at i just needed to say something, see if anyone has any insight.

conflicting hedonistic impulses

So here's my problem - I want it all and I want it now. But I can't always do it together. If I eat and gorge myself on good food, I'm too full to drink. If I get nice and drunk, I lose my appetitie. If I do drugs, I'm too fucked up to fuck. If I fuck, I go to sleep.

Am I doing these things in the wrong order? Surely I should be able to do them all in the same time period?

I'm just too hedonistic about my hedonism - and I need some planning. I just do what I want the most first and then try to fit the rest in.

Hello everyone. I was at tonys on burnside yesterday and felt this overwhelming sence of monotany.... so i left tonys and went to some random bar, jade something or other, on broadwayish. It was worse. I am feeling boxed in with my bars.... and its sad. i mean i have my basics and will never desert those, but i am looking for something new. and recomendations for a chump without a car?

A Hedonistic Sunday

Is it just me, or are Sunday's dedicated to complete and total hedonism?

Mine goes something like this:

Roll around in bed until 8 or so (LATE for me).
Stumble downstairs in jammies, grab the paper, turn on coffee pot and sit on couch .
Drink too much coffee, read the entire paper, eat anything sweet and FULL of carbs that's in the house (in yesterdays case, this was a large blueberry muffin and a fresh bagel smothered with cream cheese).
Take a 2 hour, sugar induced nap (read: coma) on my new comfy couch (which I paid entirely too much for), trying to avoid kitties that want to sleep with me.
Keep TV tuned to any channel that promises to play b-rated, 80's flicks all day.
Slide off couch and head upstairs for a long bath. Masturbate with "shower toys", wash hair, but don't dry it (i mean, who's gonna see me?), throw on comfy robe.
Head back downstairs and make a sinfully indulgent lunch of pasta, bread, fresh veggies, and the like.
Read some more of paper.
Take another short nap on the couch.
3pm, mix a fruity drink (rum is best for this). Head out to patio to sip drink and lay in the sun, letting wet hair dry.
Pick up the phone only for girlfriends that want to chat (using speaker phone so that my arm doesn't get tired holding the phone), making caddy remarks about mutual friends.
Head back in house and watch HBO sunday till i pass out on the couch...again.

Anyone else wanna share???

What the Hedonistic peoples union is about.

So i decided that it was time for me to actually decide what it is that i am doing here. I started the Hedonistic peoples union so that we could have a place for all hedonists to gather. I have noticed that there are many tribes that deal with this subject, except that most of them are sexual. Now dont get me wrong hedonisim can be a throughly sexual lifestyle but it is not always referring to sex. To be a hedonist one must live a life of indulgences. If you enjoy eating good food, drinking wine, smoke, spend to much on a car, watch to many movies enjoy any sort of drug etc you are by this tribes definition a hedionist. So this is a tribe to discuss said lifestyle and make friends accordingly.

I entered a contest for industrail art and got into the embedded systems conference for free. I dont know anything about embedded systems but I spent the past 3 days going to parties geeting free food and boose, collecting swag, watching tiny fighting robota snd getting hit on by geeks, I didnt win the contest but I won a cheap remote control car. Its ok I would have sqandered the money on burning man tickets, gifts for my friends and tatoos of my dog anyway.
